We provide general psychiatric consultation and psychotherapy in English by Dr Shoji.
Dr Shoji was trained in the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust in London. And he was qualified as a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist of the British Psychoanalytic Council.
We provide pharmacotherapy and supportive psychotherapy within the consultations. We may arrange the sessions with patient’s family members or business associates when needed to discuss together with patient.
Psychotherapy aims to explore deeply to one’s unconscious in order to understand the issues of the mind, the personality, the way of thinking, and how one relate to other people. It is performed in the form of, at least, once weekly, 50 minutes sessions at the same time on the same day of the week. We charge the booking fee in addition to the general consultation fee which is covered by the insurance.
